It is with pleasure that we welcome you to take this tour of our hospital. This is but a small glimpse at our services and we would love to invite you to come in and see us in person. Be a part of what we call our Bagnell family, our staff, our clients and their pets.
We love our reception. The murals on the back wall are made out of fabric. We will always try and be on time for your appointment but while you are waiting you may want to check out our bulletin board for up-to-date pet information as well as talking with us about the various pet foods and products on display.
This is our window-filled reception where Nina - our victory sign girl - and Melissa will welcome you. Nina heads our client services team and ensures that your pet's appointment is booked with ease or that any questions or concerns you may have are directed to appropriate staff. Melissa is our Veterinary Assistant in training. She will assist on reception as well as assist the Veterinarian or Veterinarian Technician.
We have two examination suites.
Dr. Danielle Jongkind is shown here in one of our examination rooms with our cat Sheaffer. Sheaffer is having his blood pressure checked - a quick and painless procedure. The blood pressure cuff - similar to those used to check human blood pressures but smaller - is usually placed on the tail of a cat. Blood pressure measurement is essential during anaesthetic monitoring as well as providing information during regular patient examinations.
Medications prescribed by the doctors are prepared in the pharmacy. Your pet's medical condition is our utmost concern. It is important to us to be able to provide you with the medications before you leave the hospital and answer any questions you may have. Medications can also be ordered in a fomat that is easier for you to give such as a flavoured tablet, liquid or even a "chew."
