  • Dr. Wayne Bagnell

    Dr. B is the founder and owner of Bagnell Veterinary Hospital practicing for 45 years. He loves to spend his off time canoeing, hiking and fishing. Recent trips to Costa Rica have included catch and release of the giant silver fish tarpon. Always the adventurer Dr. B loves to hike and appreciates the beauty of unspoiled forests.

  • Dr. Danielle Jongkind

    Dr. "Danielle" joined the Bagnell Veterinary Hospital in June 2012. A 1999 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary Hospital, she now practices small animal medicine only. Her "patients" often know her as "the cookie lady", which is good because she shares their passion for cookies. Dr. Danielle is privileged to live in her cat Eve's house in a small town with her husband, two children and a guinea pigs.   Dr. Danielle loves to read, garden and sew.

  • Shelley Brouwer, RVT

    Shelley is one of two  Registered Veterinary Technician .  When she is not providing love and care for the BVH patients she is hiking or golfing. Algonquin park is her favourite Ontario adventure. 

  • Susan

    Susan our full time client services representative and crazy cat lady will greet you with her lovely Welsh accent.  Outside of work Susan enjoys relaxing at home with her husband and their feline fur babies Charlie and Cindy.   

  • Kristy

    Kristy is our part-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and has worked at BVH since 2013. In her spare time Kristy enjoys strength training, enjoying the outdoors (when the weather is warmer), and spending time with her husband Justin and daughter Gabriella. She has two pets – Luna the 9-year-old dilute Tortie and Winnie the 10-year-old Shar-pei mix.

  • Melissa

    Melissa is one of two Veterinary Assistants and has her BSc in Wildlife Biology. Melissa loves anything outdoors and spending time with her husband Mike, son Noah, wonder dog Nova and kitty cat Baloo.

  • Lindsey

    Lindsey is one of two Veterinary Assistants and is in her final year of college before becoming a qualified Registered Veterinary Technician.
    In her "spare time" Lindsey enjoys time exploring the outdoors with her dogs Diesel, Harley and Molly. 

  • Debby

    Debby is our part time client services representative - she was enjoying retirement and came to help out a few years ago .. she's still here!
    Deb enjoys time with her husband Peter.. when he's not out trucking.  Fur baby Briar accompanies his mom on her work days and entertains us all.
